Brooklyn Iron Works (BIW) has been fabricating steel in the Inland Northwest and beyond since 1982. Located in Spokane, Washington, BIW has become a dominant force in the structural steel market, from simple steel buildings to complex mining conveyors to intricate bridges. BIW has always taken pride in cutting edge technology that improves efficiency and dependability.

The founder, Pat Tibbetts, built BIW from the ground up, purchasing 19 acres to house a massive fabricating shop and equally impressive coating facility. Pat has recently passed the baton to his son, Tim Tibbetts, to continue the legacy. BIW is more than a family business to Tim. Not only does he care deeply about quality, but he also understands that excellent products come from excellent people. Tim is committed to creating an environment at BIW that promotes personal and professional growth for the entire BIW family.

Tim is an “out of the box” thinker, pushing the limits of commonly accepted practices to forge a strong family culture at BIW that matches our reputation for strong metal fabrication. If you’re looking to hire us for your dream project, you will find us ready to serve. We thrive on challenges and look forward to helping you turn your ideas into reality. We are proficient at managing LEEDS projects, domestic material projects, full traceability projects, low temperature material projects, and full-time inspection projects. Whether your idea is small or large, simple or complex, near or far, we are your “go to” fabricator. We are Brooklyn Iron Works. Built to last.
